Owner and Operator of Pipeworx, Matt started out of his home shop several years ago after completing the welding program at Austin Community College. At the time, he was working for SBC Telephone, now known as AT&T, and was running the shop after work.
The shop has steadily grown to what it is today and is now a full time operation.
In '08, Matt took 3 months off to attend a metal shaping school in Rapid City, South Dakota at the Hot Rod Institute. The school helped expand his abilities into custom metal shaping and hone his skills on tools like the power hammer, shrinker/stretcher and english wheel.
Matt enjoys building all types of cars and motorcycles but his passion lies with hot rods and motorcycles of the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.
